Hello from, Mrs. Schauer! I love being the librarian for the sixth
through twelfth grade
campus in Pettus! I love reading and hope to spread my love of books and learning to everyone who walks though my doors. If you
have trouble picking out a book, ask me for a recommendation--I have plenty
of them! Don't be frightened if I ask you lots of questions--how can I
recommend a book if I don't know YOU?
My motto is "Every single book is not appropriate for every single person, but there IS a book out there that I guarantee you'll love--we just have to find it! I hope that when you visit the library you will quickly realize that it's not a "typical" library, in that it's seldom quiet--unless a class is working in here. I believe that the library should be a place to connect with books and people. The best way to connect to a book is by TALKING about the book. Plus, if I get to know you, I'll know what to recommend to you. If there is a specific book you would like for me to order for our collection, ASK ME!!
