Secondary Library Rules and Expectations:
Internet/Computer Use Rules for the Secondary Library Computers:
1. Students must have a signed Acceptable Use Policy form on file with Mrs. Warnix before they will be given a username and password. Once a student has a username and password, they must use them each time they log on to any computer in the school.
2. Students must be working on an assignment FOR SCHOOL in order to use the library computers.
3. There are several things that are NOT allowed with regards to the library’s computers. These rules are not in place because you have a mean librarian. They are mostly in place because of bandwidth issues. These include:
· Chat rooms of any kind
· Instant messaging of any kind
· Games not approved by Mrs. Schauer
· Inappropriate or vulgar sites
· Downloads of any kind, unless approved by Mrs. Schauer
